"Cebu City inspectors: Mango strip ‘dangerous’ "
"Mango Square asked to justify violations"
@@@
well, i had fun while it lasted. of course, i'm keeping my fingers cross... expect the worst and hope for the best, as the maxim says.
we already had our ROI. it won't hurt so much if things wouldn't go our way. how 'bout those who spent a mil or more of pesoses and just starting out? how are they gonna recover the lost investment? breath man, breath. it's not over 'til the bulldozer runs over your stalls.
i guess, it's also a way of slapping the management of mango square for being too insensitive and greedy... practically selling every nook to any interested tom, dick and harry of what used to be its parking space! even tenants had to fight whatever space they believe as their own cos nobody gave them a specific area where to put their tables and chairs. and then more stalls are popping out of nowhere like, everyday. somebody build right beside ours, infront and even behind our asses! even in the unimaginable places, it is being rented out!
as i have been posting here before, the place is so crammed up on weekends you'd hardly breath. not to mention, the space, the c.r.... ahhhh, go figure...
lemme just cite to you how greedy these fuckers who runs the place are. upon the renewal of our contract this year, they've increased our rent by a whopping 50%! not only that, they had our water and electric re adjusted to a much highier charging on per kilowatt and per cubic meters, respectively. even more, our CUSA (from what i understand, is another scam of theirs to charge us for every square meter we occupy --- in short, bullshit!) increased by 100%! (am i correct here lou?).
after city hall made all that surprise inspection and stuff (though i sense some hanky-panky, mumbo-jumbo intentions from the city hall. here), they again asked us to make a one time fee of 3 g's for some building permit! man, how greedy this people can get, huh?! the place where our kiosk is planted is not a building but an open plaza! why charge us?? and, they are supposed to take that from all the increases they've implemented on us and yet, in these hard times, when everything seem hopeless, they still managed to milk us some more!
you know what? fuck it, have tomas close the entire mango square, i don't care! (except for the many people who are about to lose their jobs) those who felt they have been cheated by the management for all the crap they were promised to, you can sue those blood sucking freaks, kill 'em all or just burn the place down.
so yeah, have those filthy rich guys of ludo and luym burn in hell.
we should have a farewell party guys... like, maybe, starting tonight 'til tomas decides to pull the plug??

first off, my apologies for the green guy whose making a bleeee and then a dirty finger.... and also, the tireless monkey walking around and flashes his.... ummmm, "booo" sign... and yes, bart simpson showing his ass off...
well, those were a little of "adult content" animations, i know. thought they'd spruce up this place a bit....
didn't claim to be a moralist and neither an extremist.
we clear?

boyet finally came to meet us, "former office & drinkin' mates" at our "soon to be closed" bar at mango square. had a helluva good time with the guys goin' full circle. louie, dexter and eugene all came. except for louie whose a partner in the bar, i haven't had much "meeting" session with the rest of the crew.
we had a great laugh with our usual antics. we're definitely better now with a lot of things. but, of course, some things never change. some made quite a revelation... a confession, if you may. am.... let's skip this part... shall we?
again, this is one of the few night outs i have where i get to see the sunlight, wasted. i actually gave my word to boyet that i would roll with him wherever and for as long as it takes... and i did!
by 6am, only two guys were left standing.
two things i need to get through the day: coffe black and aspirin.

talk to arden, the service manager of bimmer dealership, earlier today. i don't know what led us into motorcycles but we got there anyway and was surprised to know he owns a CR250 and a KMX125 (which he got mod to 175cc) dirt bikes. i thought this guy, considering his position, couldn't be driving around town without the usual cage. geeeez, he also sports a few scars on his legs. we actually got a little braggy (yeah, i know the word's not on webster's yet but it'll be soon) about our scars.
told him i used to own an XLR200 but sold it early this year. the cool dude actually goes mountain trailing! i have been driving mine for over three years and the worst trail i've ever been to is in my uncle's place. i would have gone mountain trailing if i had a bud to go with or a group of bikers i can join. in my circle of friends, nobody's into it and i was too busy to join a group. so, all that power, muscles and spikes of my dirt bike - all went to naught.
here's the good one, the dude invited me for some trailing and offered me to drive his other bike, the KMX and boy, was i smiling ear to ear! that, of course, is still something to materialize but i'm looking forward to it. i still have my "for motocross" helmet. it sure could use some "dust eliminating" job, fast.
it's a little nostalgic for me to say, that even if my bones are giving me some kind of pain sometimes due to the injuries i suffered from the past, i just have to this. i miss my dirt bike a lot and this would sort of "unite" me with 'em. if i fall and scratch a few skin or fracture some bones along the way, at least it's something worth it (rather than crashing into something due to drunkeness). i definitely would try to be as careful as i can be.
can't wait, dear!

i had an outlandish weekend, thank you. was playing Generals for hours and was determined in my resolve to get my game going no matter how "brutal" my enemies were. i think there are seven stages in order to accomplish the whole thing. i'm on level 4. i know i'm a little slow beating their shits out but hey, i said i was rusty, right?
on the sides, i had a bonding session with our "live-in" painter. he's pretty good at what he does but i figured he might have some "loose screws" on his head. he wanted so badly to be "IN" my "inner circle" and said, "he would do anything" except, "kill somebody," to gain my trust and confidence. he practically did all the crap talk and if he had it his way, he wouldn't let me butt-in. now, that's a big no, no and a major turn-off for me. i was feeling a little awkward with the way our "trash talk" was going but i figured, hey, let's see what this fucker got, anyway.
for all the crap he said, he practically gave himself away. worst, after all that "flowery" and fiery words he told me (like, he'd take a bullet or eat shit for me!), in just a few days, he already showed his true color. man, that's the way to do it asshole! the loser even mentioned that he would wanna be our "boy" after he's done painting the house red and, was aminable to whatever fee we could afford him for as long as he's got something to buy for his "undies." now, if that ain't schlocky, wonder what is.
i'm wondering if some creep like him who almost smooch me (that's how much he wanted to be "IN") isn't a fag??! no offense to "gray" communities out there but i'm a little too scared for those who don't dress like britney or talk like aguilera kindda gay. they're like "james bond," hiding their true colors.
all i can say to him now is, "you are soooo faaayerd, boy!"
if you wanna be my close, tight and real bud, you gotta be an ass to want some asshole friend like me.
good luck!
@@@
ey, he got my time wasted writing about his antics... time to switch channels. speaking of which and far fetched from it all, just saw the cinderella man movie last week and was close to tears with the drama part. damn, i'm not gay yet, right? i also had a great time watching (again for the nth time) the profane laden, bitch slappin' (he he he... like, naked eva mendes), and one bad ass movie, training day.
now, if only, i have all the time in the world to do all the shitty things i like... i'll be damned!.

amongst the Generals in Zero Hours expansion pack, this guy, dr. thrax, is my favorite enemy. i like to set it in hard gameplay setting. it sets my adrenaline pumping to the max.
this guy attacks from all angles... i'm kindda rusty and was having a hard time defending my turf after a long lay off... but, i'm starting to pick things up bit by bit.
excuse me while i drop some bomb on him...

sidetrack: i'm a big fan of lindsay lohan... loved her... she rocks, dude!
&&&
peepz!
hi y'all! don't have much of a thought at the moment as i was (as always) at a party last night... but, the alcohol's subsiding fast... so, my blab of the day should have some tinny substance... hik!
bueno, i've been actively posting in some of the forums i've found interesting... i'm hiding under george and goryo handles...(sssshhhhhh, this is just between you and me) there's something about those names... i like 'em a lot.
you'll find most of these sites at the links section. you might wanna join me there... share your thoughts and opinion...
that'll be all for now.
be safe.
finally, had my last session earlier today and bade goodbye to the gym i've been working out for almost 10 months. kindda feel sad. see, that's the place i first started with this workout thingy. me and my bro, alan, used to hang a lot there... it's also the place where i happen to learned how to swim... whenever i go there during summer time, i'd remember a lot of happy moments... my late dad enrolled me there to a swimming class when i was just a kiddo... didn't learn a thing cos i was too scared to hold both of my legs and my breath as instructed... the water just seem so scary, i felt drowning everytime.
my bro got me back there in college. that's when i took swimming seriously... and what do you know, with sheer determination and lots of hardwork, i now swim like a fish. everyday, i look forward to get a dip in the pool. i love those days man... the best!
then we tried the gym. we didn't know what to do back then. we just lift anything in sight. one asshole who think he's "the man" of the place chided us for going there twice in a day. "when is the competition?" he blurted out. we just ignored him. he's full of shit anyway.
thus, the bittersweet feeling. ah, fuck it, life goes on!
speaking of my bro, he texted me earlier today that he finally found the "ONE." happy for you man! it's about time.
@@@
here's a confession.... nah, nevermind!
ok, lemme just say, that hanging out in a bar often could get you am.... DRUNK!
this is the part where you get to use your "WILD" imagination, baby.
@@@
gotta go... i'm sad and am not making sense... hand me a beer, bhoy!
p.s.

that's what i'm talking about!
you heard me!
yep, i'm talking to myself. had one too many drink last night and got into a situation i'm freakin' scared about. getting really, really drunk pass 1am.
it was pre-meditated, i know. i didn't anticipate the few hotties who joined us later, though. damn, this is gonna drag all night long... you know, the cheap talking, a few rubbing... touching here and there. syeet, i'm gonna be late, honey!
all i really wanna do was talk to louie and tell him boyet had arrived and met up with me last tuesday. catch up with anything and everything, compare notes (he just started working out) with our gym session and drink a whole lot of beer. well, that was the plan.
ahhh! girls, ladies, women, bitches... something strange about you... i just can't resist...
so who the fuck cares if i'm drunk at 1am? me and only me. my scar is still fresh, bitch....and, it so happened that i got tons of work to do (ok, i'm exaggerating things a little bit here) today and history dictates that whenever yours truly is so freakin' wasted in those unholy hours, i'm bound to call it sick the next day. and it happened.
even though i managed to be up by 7am, i was still feeling boozed. the most logical thing to do, Zzzzzz again.
at any rate, today didn't all go to waste. when i finally managed to haul myself out of bed, went to work and had a decent outing.
BTW, had quite a surprise when i browse this masterpiece blog of mine (just roll with me here) and read a nasty comment about that "Sexiest Filipina Bloggers" post i had yesterday. though it was ,uh, pretty atrocious, to say the least, i was glad it wasn't some darn spammers again.
well, dunno much about her except for the few quotes i've read from THIS site and of course doing some "extra mile" of sleuthing. however, everything about her had been firewalled because of the recent events.
enough said, i'd like to get back on my favorite game (which i'm playing again after a yearlong hiatus), generals.
peace out.

Sexiest Filipina Bloggers
read a lot of pinay blogs who were, according to michael, the sexiest filipina bloggers. i couldn't agree more. these gals are hot, dude! they packed a lot of brains, sensuality, emotions and depth. there was one named Transience who had to temporarily shut down her blog for getting one-too-few hate mails. don't do that baby, just got on your real nice, poetic and super sexy blog! damn, some good things never last, huh?
i actually stumbled upon this story: "Filipina decides to pull the plug on her blog" while browsing thru INQ7.net's tech section. one click led to another... and another and so on... go ahead, read on with her story...
it's also nice to look at some of the pinoy great bloggers... lots of these guys slash gays slash gals are really good at what they do and had an awful lot of time burning eyebrows...
it'll be hard for me to achieve such a feat for helluva reasons... i rarely go cheesy. i watch a lot of TV but am not your typical american idol, capt. barbell, korean import slash u.s. surplus "dubbed," slash pinoy telenovela kindda guy (ladies, don't dispair. 80 percent of guys are like me according to an a.c nielsen survey... joke!). and, am certainly not kris aquino fanatic... more reasons coming up soon!
according to one headline (which i'm not searching no link no more), blogging is for the elite... hey, i'm no elite dude, just expressing my views, opinion, sentiments and ok, drama. so beat it.
so, what's the point to all this blabbing? i guess, i'm surprised of how bold and open-minded ladies are these days... they can go toe-to-toe in expressing their views about "mature" things with men and be so openly vulgar about their sensuality to the world...
though surprise, confused and somewhat enjoying it, is there anything good we can get out of all these or are we all goin' to the dogs?
shit, i forgot, i'm not supposed to ask questions here cos only the spammers have the balls to comment. sorry peepz, my mistake.
there goes my yadi-yada for the day.

yeheyy! boyet telephoned (classic example of a noun wishing to be a verb... ) me this morning... "the eagle has landed," indeed... well, dunno what the plan is but i'm sure he's got some...
meanwhile, had a great time tweaking and experimenting with this ever so cool blog of moi. can you spot the obvious difference? i guess that "idiot's guide..." coupled with "learning HTML..." book(s) did some tricky thing with my brain, ey? i'm not even half of both books yet but already, am doin' some minor "damaged" here.... watch when i've read 'em 3 times... he he he
the goal is basic: learn something new everyday. it doesn't matter how big or small... well, for me, i have to cos i'm the kind of guy that gets bored sooooo easily.
guess what? while reading thru the source code of some of the coolest blogs, just pick up some more tricks... geeez, i think i should capitalize on this cos this is one of the few things i love to do... i need a superfast connection, baby!
haaaaah, there goes my episode of the day... YOU all take care of yourselves pepz!

oh... doohwd
i'm back on the groove.
the nasty wound on my elbow is seventy percent healed. had it tested at the gym last monday and was happy i could stretch it quite a bit. had an hour of light workout. i'll try to hit it harder later today if and when time permits.
it's been raining for days... last monday, i was on my way to SM and was about to fetch wifey (she just decided to ditch driving the mini van we bought last year specifically for her to: be MOBILE on demand, STOP bugging me, and to GET a life of her own -- all because of high fuel prices). i was near the Mabolo police station when all of a sudden the rain came down inbucketssheetstorrents! man, the rain swarmed in my clothes and apparel (you know, my make-up and stuffs..), i was practically WET all over in just minutes. i would have had sworn vicious fits to whomever caused my fate that night and sing out LOUD Vanilli Milli's song, "blame it on the rain" but, had to desist the idea... instead, i thought about how abundant our water well has become by then because our household depends so much on that. and, out of whatever water is generated to our water system, a few "connected" households are equally happy with the continous supply.
so, next time you NAG about the rain pouring and flowing profusely, remember those liquids running generously through your faucet.... they all came down from the heavens, doohwd.
.... mind you, i'm still reeking wet while i wrote this.
@@@
just watched blue crush last night over star movies... i saw the dvd disc displayed somewhere but was never tempted to buy it. just can't find the reason why spend my hard earned moolah in some surf movie with skimpy girls doing some stunt... it'll just give me some "hard-on" somewhere and it won't be a pretty sight to see. as expected, it did but was happy to watch the sand, humongous waves and all the nice beaches. 'twas pretty nice movie after all, doohwd.
now, i miss beachin' again....
@@@
it's wednesday and i haven't heard from boyet... wonder where's the doohwd? well, i can't blame him for not showing up this soon... if i miss this good friend of mine a lot, so much more his family.
@@@
it's been a really busy week for me... practically, left and right... they're like riding me to hell, doohwd! from all my bosses, to the sales, accounting and especially the freakin' auditor... they all want a piece of me... well, at least, i'm made for this kind of shit...so, bring it on!
@@@
guess i'm gonna have to slow down with my night life cos i just got healed... i'm developing phobia's of some sort ---- agoraphobia, algophobia, claustrophobia, genophobia, hemophobia, lalophobia, ligyrophobia.... WTF??
i need some "psycho" shrink to get these phobia's off my psyche, doohwd.
@@@
just days ago, i had some serious doubt with myself whether i still can "D.I.Y." (Do It Yourself) some minor household repairs. when i was younger, it used to be that whatever needs repairing in our old apartment in sepulveda st., i'd pretty much do the shitwork (except for some i could not handle anymore). when i had to build a barbell made out of cement and stone or when i need to build a cage for our chickens (our relatives from the province sends us a lot of birds way back then), i'll do, in a blink.
when i finally landed a job and earned a few bucks, i left the building and the fixing to the "handymen." thought, "i'm busy," now that i'm employed. or, just too lazy to sweat it out... "have somebody fix it!" so, even how minor it is, be it a house, car, bike, mc "situation", it's much easier to call the "experts" than me trying to look at the problem and figuring out how to fix it.
lately though, i have this growing discontentment of our "repair boys" work and how their respond time had been taking awhile. i also have this growing itch to try "D.I.Y." again. so, i took matters into my own hands in doing the installing of some stuffs in our house and was pleased to know that "I CAN." doohwd, i still have it and i'd say i'm better today than years ago. i guess having alcohol for vitamins do help, huh? heh! kidding aside, it's a wonderful feeling to have done something for our new crib. not to mention, my confidence level in terms of being a "D.I.Y." guy again shoot way up to the stars!
i'm singing james brown "i feel good" song in my head right now.
@@@
well, the place where our joint's currently situated is getting a lot of buzz lately. not only do gangsta's hangout and kick each others asses in there, frat boys abode in the area inviting brawls every once too often... enough with the promotion... can't wait to be there tonight... check out on my hommies.
this caps my whole week of storytelling dear fans... i don't hope for you to like it or otherwise. but, just the same, i would like to thank fanny serrano for my hair and make-up, ricky reyes for my wig, dra. vicky belo for the liposuckshon, fitness first gym for my butt enhancing exercise... who else?? he he he... heck, too bad i'm not that familiar with the rest of pinoy showbiz benefactors....
p.s.
this post is supposed to be the latest than the one above but somehow, it took me a lot while to finish this darn thing... the date of this post represents the day i first conceived this "masterpiece." ahehehehe...
well, see yah!

lately though, i have this growing discontentment of our "repair boys" work and how their respond time had been taking awhile. i also have this growing itch to try "D.I.Y." again. so, i took matters into my own hands in doing the installing of some stuffs in our house and was pleased to know that "I CAN." doohwd, i still have it and i'd say i'm better today than years ago. i guess having alcohol for vitamins do help, huh? heh! kidding aside, it's a wonderful feeling to have done something for our new crib. not to mention, my confidence level in terms of being a "D.I.Y." guy again shoot way up to the stars!
i'm singing james brown "i feel good" song in my head right now.
@@@
well, the place where our joint's currently situated is getting a lot of buzz lately. not only do gangsta's hangout and kick each others asses in there, frat boys abode in the area inviting brawls every once too often... enough with the promotion... can't wait to be there tonight... check out on my hommies.
this caps my whole week of storytelling dear fans... i don't hope for you to like it or otherwise. but, just the same, i would like to thank fanny serrano for my hair and make-up, ricky reyes for my wig, dra. vicky belo for the liposuckshon, fitness first gym for my butt enhancing exercise... who else?? he he he... heck, too bad i'm not that familiar with the rest of pinoy showbiz benefactors....
p.s.
this post is supposed to be the latest than the one above but somehow, it took me a lot while to finish this darn thing... the date of this post represents the day i first conceived this "masterpiece." ahehehehe...
well, see yah!

Soapdish
Pwede bang sabihin mo
Na itatago mo ang mga sulat ko
Kasi medyo maiinis ako
Kung itatapon mo..
'wag kang mag-alala..
Di ako luluha
Kung may kapiling kang iba
Di na pipilitin pa..
Itong damdamin ko sa'yo
Medyo maninibago
Pero ayos lang sakin 'to
At pwede bang sabihin mong..
"maghihintay ako sa'yo.."
Kasi medyo naiinip na 'ko
Sa ikot ng mundo
Pwede bang isipin mo
Nahihirapan din naman ako
Sa paghintay lang ng kung anu-ano
Magmumula sa'yo
At 'wag kang magtataka
Kung ako'y biglang makita
Na nag-iisa..nakahiga lang sa kama
Iniisip ko ito,
"ba't nga ba biglang nagbago?.."
Makayanan ko sana 'to..
At pwede bang sabihin mong..
"maghihintay ako sa'yo.."
Kasi medyo naiinip na 'ko
Sa ikot ng mundo
'wag kang mag-alala..

PaksiT !!!™
guess i'm gonna be under the radar for a while... the accident, though did not cripple me, it limited my movements, further.
any of you wonder why this blog's called PaksiT !!!™ ? must have been because of the paksits in my elbows... ha ha ha!! still hurts but day by day, it's healing pretty good. during ancient times, men are measured by the number of his scars... you know, battle scarred guys are the ultimate warriors... ehem, just like me...
i was really happy to be back at the gym last week... today, very disappointed. i just aggravated my condition some more. WTF??? i can't believe how stupid i was to superspeed under the influence. well, as some adage would have it, "there are no mistakes, just another lesson learned."
yeah right...
the temptation to screw around is always there. i'd like to keep myself together these days. i'm a little lost... the events that's happening around me... family, home, work, our tambayan, the world and everything else seem overwhelming and i can't quite get a grip of it. i have a lot of personal issues that i also have to deal with now or, i could go on walking around and snap... just like that. boy, it happened before and i hated it.
so, live easy for a while... even mel gibson needed that...
ooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo
beach roots, we rock!
my unsolicited advise to my fellow partners who are in a row over a crappy thing; you might wanna channel all that might and energy for something more useful... the possibilities are endless, bro. instead of killing each other you/we can:
* whack the kiosk of our competitions... i'm sure we can find a worthy competitor(s) we can whop.
* go to iraq, lebanon or mindanao and shoot those extremist, rebels and terrorist... we can finally put to use those guns and ammos we've been saving for times like these.... done target shooting, let's shoot the real thing.
yeah, just kidding.
but really, i have only been with you for a year, the most, and i can see how close you are... i supposed, you've been friends for eons. it's crazy to imagine how you can easily crack for that little, tiny thing and just forget about "pinagsamahan."
i really can't add more pep talks here. besides, at the end of the day, it is you who will decide which road to take... so, be careful out there...
just so you know, i had so much fun that night because most of you were there... too bad, it turn out to be too good to be true, huh?
parts, brad, pre, cio, tol, bro... peace... ®

she was a looker... definitely a stunner... she had short hair... silky smooth, fairly white skin... much like *bleep's* and *bleep's*...
let's talk about nothing... shall we?
uuummmmm, trying to figure you out... checking brain waves.... process in progress...
more chattin'....
what the heck, did you just kiss me?
wait, i didn't sweet talk my way to get that kiss, right?
aaahhhh, nevermind... like it a lot... let's do it some more baby... oooohhhhh, is that your tongue sticking out?
sweet...
damn, didn't know you're a pro... better...
ow, great! some hand's crawling over my crouch... stop it, before anything *bleep* happens...
whew! your legs is all over mine... tsk, tsk, tsk...
you really want me to fall for you, huh?
awww, did you just *bleep* my freakin' *bleep???!*
like that a lot too, thank you....
damn, you're soooo goooooood.... my heart is beating at twice the speed of sound now...
this is way surreal... in a good way... surprisingly good, in fact....
please....
don't....
stop....
please don't stop!!! please don't stop!!! please don't stop!!!

my suzuki live up to its model - SMASH!
yes bud, after a year of smooth driving with whatever two-wheeled vehicle is being put in front of me, i finally crashed and burned my left elbows once again... with feelings (as in PAINful) this time.
it was an ordinary night, nothing special. right after i wrote the post below, went ahead to our "tambayan" (if you've been my fan, you know where that is. however, if you're not, you know the drill). although i had high hopes that whatever happened (read my previous post in case you are in limbo) may just be patched up sooner than later, i'm also not too optimistic, considering the circumstances sorrounding the incident. but, i just gotta have some hope. i like these guys anyway, so if there's anything i could chip-in to help them kiss and make-up, i'd gladly do. well, the offended parties were a "no-show." it's pretty unlikely for them to just show up after a night they thought of killing each other.
so, i went ahead to enjoy the night. as usual, the goal is to keep it slow and steady with the booze and bail out before 12mn. then a "friend," from out of nowhere and out of the blue, suggested we hit some "other bar" where sexy and skimpy girls hangout. "shit, i don't wanna do this but heck, let's go!" to make the long story short, (aaahhhhh! i can't say it here unless i wanna get busted by wifey) it was a "productive" (oh, it's not what you think... really! pramiz!) night for me. damn, thought i've lost my mojo a long time ago since i fell for somebody like crazy... still have some under my sleeve, ey!
to say it was a fun trip would be an understatement. it was great! had too much adrenaline that night, practically forgotten how many glasses, bottles and pitchers of booze got into my bloodstream.
perhaps, the combination of adrenaline and alcohol combustion would explain why on my way home, i just quit taking glances at my speedometer and didn't notice how fast i was riding. worst, i didn't bother to hit the breaks when i made that fateful turn... SMASH!!!
ouch! geeez man, that HURT like hell!
stand up in haze, check myself out quickly for broken bones, skull (God forbid), dislocated joints, etc. except for an obvious pain in my right knee (due to the impact on the gutter/pavement of the road) and, a nasty scratch, cuts and a bruise on my right elbow, everything checkout fine. my suzuki smash, still intact except for a broken side mirror.
went home with minor bleedings (forget hospital and doctors... hate being around them) and was greeted with glee by nagging wifey. i've lost a good amount of confidence driving a motorcycle after that incident but left me no doubt in my mind, i'll be driving mc's 'til my last breath....
well, shit happens to nice guys, you know...
lesson learned: STOP screwing around or else....

too much workout can kill you.
who says? sez me, bud.
after going full stretch last week of my workout sessions, i inadvertently injured my foreams. first was my left. there was discoloration. thought it was just some bruise i got from getting bump while under the influence of "you know what." but after a day, my right forearm started to pain annoyingly. meaning, if i hold something (such as a bottle of strong ice or a glass of rum and coke), it pains. if i open the door or zip my fly, it hurts. i figured, that's it, i'm fucked!
yesterday though, with no plan at all and out of the blue, went to the gym to whip up some weights and "fuck the pain," told myself. well, the good thing though, i was able to buy me one of those wrist support band before (due again to the same recurring injury i got from a motorcycle accident years ago) and managed to work around the pain. voila! had an excellent session and it looks like there's no stopping me now. yahooo!
meanwhile, a good friend of mine who works in one of our company's biggest competition, rex, asked me to quit working out in my current gym and move over his newly build house slash gym. i've been there before and although it's not as complete as the one's i have now, his is more personalized. rex is a pro bodybuilder. he competes and in fact won various bodybuilding competition. so, to be invited and be part of his fold, a previlege and an honor.
so next month, i'm moving over.
ooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo
went to beach roots last night and as always, it's fun to be with the guys. one lady at the bar asked me why she rarely see's me there. i guess, going there twice a week is rather rare these days, huh? well, i didn't answered much cos she's too young to understand why.
my reasons are basically simple.
one: my conscience bothers me when i'm all there having fun while wifey and neil are left all alone without me...huhuhu...
two: it's pretty expensive. it's not like since we owned it we get freebies. we pay just like anybody else... and no discounts please. so, even if our bar hasn't gotten that long desired "5 star rating," our prices still are relatively pricy compared to your next door neighborhood sari-sari store. thus, one night of fun equals a lot of food on the table. sensible man that i am, i prefer the latter.
three: i'm not getting any younger. if i was in my late teens or early tweenties, i'd probably hang-out there 'til i drop. now that i'm wiser (older is is not in my vocabulary), i know my limitations. if i hang out there, expect me to be a goner by 12 midnight. besides, i got a job to do the next day.
four: i may still be a party boy (in contrast to malou's assertion that she's quitting the night life), but i certainly can live without it. it's not something i crave for. if it comes, it comes. expounding further prolongs the discussion, so quit asking.
five: if it weren't for the fact that i happened to co-own the joint, i wouldn't hang around in a super crowded place like ours. i guess i'm really getting older, huh? duh! there are people who dig that kind of environment. you know, the crowd, the faces, music and the vibe. i don't. i like the music lower than what we usually have. i like to sit and move comfortably, piss properly (not pissing at the back of rustans everytime) and breath easy. it's pretty hot in there when it's crowded and breathing can be such a pain sometimes especially with almost everyone smoking their lungs out to extinction.
six: sinner that i am, i'd call the place "little sin city by the city." with practically everyone converging there, it's like hell. of course, i mean on fridays and saturdays. i'm not trying to be a saint but i also don't wanna go to hell. so when i'm there, sinning is a sureshot.
lastly, it just feels better to go home after a days work. have a relaxing time with the family, watch my favorite tv-series, play with neil, sex with wifey(ooopppps! censored!). but, expect me to be popping up in there once in a while. after all, we all need a little unwinding sometimes.
ooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooo
just got a text from john, our partner, being apologetic and saying some strange, "out of this world" message telling everyone (i presume he texted everyone with the way he said it) that we're all toughies and that he would be there later tonight if anybody wants to hook up with him for some chat (over a bottle of beer, pre?).
i got a little curious. obviously, i wasn't there anymore if and when some shitty things happened. when i left, i was a little worried about the "below the belt" jokes being jab around with gusto. i suppose something bad happened later that night for him to text something serious and most probably, it involves some of our parners.
did a little sleuthing and was surprise, shocked and appalled to learned that two of our partners had a fight! damn, how the hell did that happened?? i have long prepared myself physically and mentally that being in the bar business, we'd sometimes get into trouble with some thugs, gangs, competitions and maybe unruly customers but i have never thought even in my wildest imagination that there will come a time when we would start killing each other! never. nada.
i don't wanna say anything premature but dude aren't we a little too "mushroom minded" to do that??
so tonight, i'm going there in peace and hopefully find out what the heck happened and maybe patch things up before it goes out of hand.
wish me luck.... (again)

Good Luck _____

what's new??
not much.
i'm a little off my "comfort zone" these days, so, instead of posting anything recent, i'd rather be staring at some image of a beautiful, voluptuous, sexy and one hot of a woman in the name of eva mendes.
oh yeah, it was niel's 8th birthday last friday, july 21st. the kid is growing faster and smarter by the day. it's amazing how better they are in terms of learning and all at their age as compared to the kids of yesteryears (such as yours truly).
anyhow, his ninong earl went to the haus and gave him a present. haven't seen this childhood-best friend of mine for months. glad to see you buddy!
went out after all the hoopla to meet more friends...
i guess i'll never ran out of friends, buddies, acquaintances and all but, right now, my best of the best friend-forever, "kabarkada," playmate, chatmate, bedmate, showermate, mall & foodtrip date (when time permits), tv-channel surfing buddy, pc-games dreaded competitor, and the person who would always have all the time in the world to be with me........
is none other than (drums rolling).............
make a wild guess.

i just love jessica biel!
had quite an episode to tell about my last saturday's night-out, highlighted this afternoon by virgie, no less, whom i mentioned in my previous posts.
but, instead of writing that "sexy and scary" episode of mine, let us instead watch how hot the image of jessica biel above cos, one: i badly need some inspiration, two: have to get myself together, three: am really, really tired and four: i just freakin' hate mondays.
now, if you will excuse me, i need to stare my darn monitor, lewd woman!
ooooohhhhhh..... aaaaaahhhhhhhh.......... ü

gym rat

after five days of not being able to hit the gym, finally had the time to slam some weights on, big time. not to get my ass there that long, for me, is quite alarming, a bad sign and a prelude to quitting altogether.
one guy whose been there for about four months and already slimming down (he's very fat when he started) ask me what's my program. i guess, when i saw him earlier, i gave the fellow a compliment that he was trimming down, so he had quite a confidence to ask me that question. and so i said to him, "this is for strength training bay." he nodded in agreement when he saw how much weight i was lifting. he even offered to 'spot' me when he saw i've got 70lbs. of weights i'm about to gobble for my tricep extension set. the friendly dude told me he's into some fat burning supplements for three weeks and has been lifting a maximum of 5lbs of weights per side for get this, two hours on a 3 day split (hope that's not too technical for you)!! that explains his drastic slimming. i am however not incline to do the same for some reasons....
amino acid, extra joss and some multivitamins does the work for me. the most essential tool i need to keep this thing going is all in the mind. if i start getting lazy, i'm done. what's amazing though, is everyday i keep thinking of doing it and for months it's been working out good although not seamlessly... like, it's a struggle between taking it easy (read: sleep, eat, dvd, pc-game, beachroots, etc.) and sweating it out.
since thursday, i've been hitting it really good and man, my muscles aches a lot like i've been beaten down, stripped, whopped and sexed by five women in bed.... hehehehe! i wish!
well, i like it that way.
i practically scorched my lats, back, chest, delts and triceps the last three days. whoah, somebody stop me!
i guess i need some serious fun tonight, like, go to some nice place loud, meet up and chat with some friends, drink-up some rhum and coke, enjoy the view, party and just enjoy the rest of the night.... whatchathink, muchacha?
click.
this conclude tonight's broadcast.

random thoughts
i'm on a dilemma.
in as much i would have love telling all my tales, i have to draw the line somewhere. you see, a lot of my friends, their gf's, mu's, wify's are reading this one hell of a 'kewl' blog... excuse my assumingness.
so, even if it's so tempting to blurt the nasty, kinky, twisted, perverted and far-out adventures me, my compañeros and acquaintances of wherever my butt-cheek visage settles, i won't kiss and tell.
my lips are sealed. zip. (or is it 'is' cos i only have one lips?)
needless to say, this blog, even with its 'PG' rating, is trying to be as wholesome as possible. you may read some profane language being impulsively uttered, but that's about it.
oooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo
as the title of this post suggest, this will be a random of whatever. meaning: boundless crap.
it's friday the 14th and i'm itching to go beach rooting but, i'm home typing, serving a heapful of 'brainworks.' yep, for me this entails a lot of intellectual activity that for an abused brain such as mine, it's nerve wracking. ok, that's a lot of hyperbolism. my apologies...
goin' back, it's always fun being there especially tonight and tomorrow night. it's gonna be loud and a lot of people will surely be flooding the place. they just keep coming no end.
and yeah, before i forget, eye candies everywhere, dude.
but i have to skip it tonight.
i was there last tuesday and as usual, with earl and louie and few of our partners (aloy and elvin) in b.r., it's always fun. we had a concoction of rum and coke for a change. it was cheaper than our usual booze but more potent. my ears, español blooded that i am (bleeee!), turn red like crazy after i downed one glass. WTF, is it hot here or it's just me?
prior to that drinking binge, moi and louie meet up downtown to purchase new speakers. we already burned-up three sets of speakers since we started this bar business thing. it's not funny no more, chump. earl eventually caught up with us. this guy's got some "psychokinetic" powers like superman to actually predict we were in that area. anyhoo, the speaker sounds better than the rest we've had. of course, everytime something burns-up, the new one always sounds better. must've been the price, ey?
so there, after we set-up the whole thing, listen how loud it is (everything's loud there, by the way), and dinner at sugbo silog, we decided to drink some hard liquior to liquefy whatever we stack up earlier.
after the drink ran out, i wanted to go home (famous line that's always goin thru my brain that time: "i just wanna go home"). besides, drinking there on a tuesday night is absolutely not part of my week's plan. then, a dude, my superfriend went on to offer me one sml for the road. i can't possibly say 'no' to a free drink, can i? ok, i thought. my toes can still walk straight on a crooked line... i figured.
it was pretty hard downing that bottle, mind you. my ears were so hot it felt like it's gonna burn. damn alcohol's makin' me sweat!
finally, the bottle's empty...(whew!) when all of a sudden, out of nowhere, elvin, the 'gigolo' and the "lots of mojo" guy bade us goodbye. well, apparently, he just sold his suv and again, due to constant prodding of some cool dude, gave us (me and the dude) another free sml as a token of whatevah. now, it's either i'm too lucky or it's just my fate to get some kind of a treat that night, but my toes are wobbling really crazy now and it certainly ain't the solution to my growing predicament.
at last, at long last, the inevitable came. i must go home heavily inebriated. this again are the kind of moments where i managed to think clearly in a split second, while driving pixilated, i mumble to myself: "you're gonna be lucky to be home alive, you @#$%^^&!"
much thanks to God for keeping me safe and alive for the nth times i've been in those kindda situation.
oooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooo
thus, tonight, instead of going out, i'm in 'detox' mode.
neil's been egging me to get my ass off this computer and, since he scored pretty good in school this week, i'm gonna have to let him do some damage with his favorite pc-game.
i should change the title of this post to "missing beach roots while on detox" cos this isn't so random thoughts, anyway.
the sequel's coming soon... wonder what's on discovery channel tonight...
g o t t a g o . . .
in as much i would have love telling all my tales, i have to draw the line somewhere. you see, a lot of my friends, their gf's, mu's, wify's are reading this one hell of a 'kewl' blog... excuse my assumingness.
so, even if it's so tempting to blurt the nasty, kinky, twisted, perverted and far-out adventures me, my compañeros and acquaintances of wherever my butt-cheek visage settles, i won't kiss and tell.
my lips are sealed. zip. (or is it 'is' cos i only have one lips?)
needless to say, this blog, even with its 'PG' rating, is trying to be as wholesome as possible. you may read some profane language being impulsively uttered, but that's about it.

d' bammer

i'm a little bummed today. i did something bad last night. why i have to do that, i don't freakin' know.
i'd like to get drunk and dirty this early... not to continue my bad ass ways, but just to feel better.
and 'mateo?' don't wanna talk about 'em.
geeeez, i need to do something or i'll feel this way forever...
regrets, regrets.... you're always too late.
what am i gonna say??
sigh.
let's go for a spin, shall we?
it's gonna be brief, i promise.
tonight, i'm gonna fetch 'mateo.' drop-by elmer's shop earlier today and was told, 'mateo's good to go.
i'm a little skeptical but i got to trust elmer. after all, he made me pay 4G's of my hard earned savings. a few replacements there, tightening here, adjust there, welded here blah, blah, blah and 'mateo's feelin fine.
so people of the world, may i request once again for your prayers as we (mateo and me. who else were you thinking, dawg??) traverse the roads of the city and beyond... shit, the 'beyond' part was a little surreal.
i can't describe the feeling...

Waiter, waiter!!!

Waiter, waiter, there's a small fly in my soup! I'm sorry, sir. Shall I get you a bigger one?
Waiter, waiter, this food is terrible! Bring me the manager. I'm sorry, sir. He won't eat it either.
Waiter, waiter, you're not fit to serve a pig! I'm trying my best, sir.
Waiter, waiter, do they ever change the tablecloths in this restaurant? I don't know, sir. I've only been here a year.
Waiter, waiter; what's on the menu tonight? I'm not sure, sir, but it looks like last night's special.
Waiter, waiter, there's a dead fly in my soup! Yes, sir, it's the hot water that kills them.
Waiter, waiter, what's this fly doing in my soup? Breast stroke, sir, breast stroke.
Waiter, waiter, this food isn't fit for a pig! Very good sir. I'll go and get you some that is.
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup! No, sir, actually that's the chef. The last customer was a witch doctor.
Waiter, waiter, there's a twig in my soup! Well you did order bird's nest soup, sir.
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my alphabet soup! I expect it's learning to read, sir.
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup! Don't worry, sir, the tarantula on the roll will catch it.
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup! Sir, what do you want me to do, call a lifeguard?
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup! Throw him a doughnut, sir, it'll make a good lifebelt.
Waiter, waiter, what's this fly doing in my ice-cream? Looks like he's learning to ski, sir.
Waiter, waiter, do you serve crabs? Sit down, sir. We serve anybody.
Waiter, waiter, there's a fly in my soup. Don't worry sir, they don't drink much.

oh my mateo...
this is gonna start short.
and before you and i knew it, this would be lengthy, dragging, tedious and boring (hopefully not) post.
if you've been on earth for a month or two, specifically the queen city of the south - cebu, you've probably noticed how hard the rain has been pouring lately. i've been wet for so many times.. i'm finally feeling the pinch of this adverse weather condition.
neil just recovered from cough and cold, so are his yaya.
motorcycle fanatic that i am, i'd prefer riding my bike on any given day going to work than being held behind the steering wheel of an expedition or a bimmer (unless otherwise i can afford to be super late; not to mention, super rich to support the lifestyle, then i would choose otherwise). not only do i cut my travel time, it's much less stress not being stuck behind the traffic.
lately though, for the nth time since the rainy season started, i've been practically wet driving down the road due to sudden and incessant raining. i have lost a good amount of eagerness to drive my suzuki smash. further, everytime i'm on a gimmick mode, guzzling too much strong ice is a no, no. unlike driving a four-wheeled vehicle, where i can always take a quick nap whenever my knees starts to wobble or my tongue begins to fumble.
so even if i wanted to hang around with my coolest friends, watch those superb bands playing, and enjoy the view at b.r., in a two-wheeled ride, i have to disappear when the booze kicks-in and i'm approaching that level of intoxication where my mental faculties are in question.
well today, i thought i should get 'mateo' back on the road. even with his inadequacy, i figured he is the answer to this 'bad' situation i'm currently holed-up.
contracted our ex-technician, elmer, who now runs a shop of his own and told me that 'mateo' just got a space in his shop today. went home immediately so i could get 'mateo's ass repaired. one click, two click... finally on the sixth click of twisting and turning the ignition key, 'mateo's engine roared. "geeeezzzz, i miss you man," were my first four words behind the steering wheel. it's been almost two months since we rolled down the street... pally.
rev him up a bit... nice sound, i thought.
everything seems fine...
shift to 1st gear and we're off.
i had a relaxing drive from our house to banilad until....
arriving at the exit of i.t. park where a sizable traffic congestion is starting to build-up... when it hit me... this is the kind of situation 'mateo' usually screws up. i was feeling a little nervous. i wanted to erase that thought. a few meters away from usp lahug campus and 'mateo's engine starts to choke. "oh shit, not again," i said to myself. after a few stop and go and some annoyed driver behind honking me to eternity, 'mateo' finally quit on me... again!
man, what is the matter with you, dude???!!! why do you always do this to me??
what's even worst, i'm usually stuck in the middle of the road and the goddamn car would not even give me a hint where he would pass out. i have to push him to the right side of the road and boy, did i get any help. luckily, there were two good samaritans who help me push 'mateo' to the curb.
just when i drove him to get his much needed repair, he boggles. good thing, i renewed my membership to wheelers towing services even when i rarely use 'mateo.' had i didn't, i would have had to call a technician and drive all the way to happy valley where elmer's shop is located and, more shits could have happened.
anyway, he's in good hands now. hopefully, elmer would be able to fix him and get everything right.
meanwhile, i need a freakin' cold beer, punk!

A judge was interviewing a woman regarding her pending divorce, "What are the grounds for your divorce?"
She replied, "About four acres and a nice little home in the middle of the property."
"I mean," he continued, "What are your relations like?"
"I have an aunt and uncle living here in town, and so do my husband's parents."
He said, "Do you have a real grudge?"
"No," she replied, "We have a two-car carport and have never really needed one."
"Please," he tried again, "is there any infidelity in your marriage?"
"Yes, both my son and daughter have stereo sets. We don't necessarily like the music, but the answer to your question is 'yes'."
"Ma'am, does your husband ever beat you up?"
"Yes," she responded, "most days he gets up earlier than I do."
Finally, in frustration, the judge asked, "Lady, why do you want a divorce?"
"Oh, I don't want a divorce," she replied. "I never wanted a divorce...
It's husband. He says he can't communicate with me!"

if you dig drama... this is where not to look
i'm really, really tired of this crap.
i'd love to take this blog out of circulation. what's the point exposing one's self to the whole wide world?? be famous? maybe share all that dramas in your life... and then maybe, just maybe, some giant network picks your story... hey girl, that's pretty convenient!
maybe bloggers are like artist. they wanna express themselves by well, posting their mystic thoughts, ideas and works about the universe and beyond. nah!
whatever that is, i'd like to know why.
to be perfectly honestly, i'd like to level with you guys and gals (whomever, whatever) but i guess, you're a little far out. either way, i like the way you think.
i'm a little cranky today.
i'm hoping, after i'm done with this nonsense, i'd feel better.
oh yeah, blogging is suppose to be therapeutic.
my hangover's starting to subside... is that a good sign?
and another - 'oh yeah!!' there are excellent blogs out there that tackles a lot of subjects, such as cooking, how to's, latest technology/gadgets, politics, computers... to sex, drunks, ek-eks, etcetera, etcetera....
i read 'em. in fact, i waste a lot of time browsing thru these blogs.
lately, i've been doing a lot of reading (pa 'as if' ba). absorbing whatever relevant information i bump into. after eons of dullness, i finally am able to comprehend a lot of things with ease.
i still have a lot of bad days, though. unable to get a grip of whatever's being said or taught.
and i mean, a lot.
the reason?
well, here's the drama part of this episode... you might wanna get your napkins ready... kidding.
growing up, mother (may her soul rest in peace), geared us, me in particular, with loads of exhibiting faults and errors... as in and i mean, really bad.
i was a little disobedient and naughty among the siblings but, that don't justify the enormous amount of whippings and the beatings i get even for the tiny, little misdeeds i have committed.
so, learning for me in school -- the hardest. especially, when i had to nurse a bruise body and a bleeding self esteem. notwithstanding, along with my heavy backpack, is a heavy heart i had to carry with me in school.
in addition, it didn't help that we, the children of the sun (anak sa singot - no need to argue), were sent to a public school where a lot of baloneys are done outside rather than in the classroom.
worst, daddy had to die too soon. i was only 13.
that, to us, was the hardest part in our growing-up stage - having no father.
i'd like to believe that i'm in a better place now... i do.
my momma, she redeemed herself in the latter part of her life... she cooked us great foods, took care of the house, showed us love (me in particular), gave us moral support (and money too!).
9 years had passed and i still miss mother a lot. i dreamed of her still alive, walking around, yelling to me (in a good way), do some delicious cooking, squeaky clean the bathroom (her favorite fortress, by the way), over there in our old apartment(s).
but, the ghost of the past will forever haunt me...
this ends our drama session.
sigh, i feel better now...

mess with the best, die like the rest...
on my way to work yesterday, i was in my usual morning routine -- wake-up late and hurry-up for work, that is. there are days i simply drive an average speed even when i'm really, really close to getting that most coveted, "tardiness award of the year."
i couldn't care less... work's been boring lately. but that's another post.
anyway, yesterday, i decided to push the envelope to the limit... i needed to prove to myself that eventhough i was hanging my ass out at beach roots the night before with 5 bottles of strong ice beer flowing through my arteries and, went home a little late (if 12 mn is late for you, wussy), that i could wake-up and make the 8' o' clock 'habit' of an 8-5 job.
so there, i was speeding, yes but, as safely as i could be... weaving through traffic... left and right... 'til i arrived at banilad area near gaisano country mall where the climax of the sex, i mean, the story begins.
suddenly...
while on a stop, this was the scenario:
in front of me, a nissan frontier pick-up; behind me, an isuzu elf cargo truck. my bike's tires planted on the yellow line that's suppose to separate a four lane road.
8-10 meters away from me is the traffic enforcer. as straight as the quarter mile track of srp where dragsters race, was his direction towards me.
the plan - squeeze the throttle to the max in order to overtake the nissan frontier in front of me and then hopefully shoot my way inside his lane before i run over the enforcer or get smack right-out by the frontier.
so, off i went to execute my 'brilliant' plan...
all of a sudden, half way through the process, my ride couldn't overtake the frontier cos apparently he didn't want me to dive in front of him. he honk me to death making me screech to a halt right in front of the traffic enforcer! worst, when i tried to get my ass back into the goddamn lane, the isuzu elf was just 3 feet away from me! damn, that was foul, hombre!
defensive driving manual dictates (per se), "don't expect the other guy behind the wheels to do exactly what you think."
so i forgot the basics... so sue me!
the driver of the elf truck was screaming at me (i don't know what and i don't care) but my heart was trembling and pumping so hard, my adrenaline -- rushing like hell!
immediately, i went full throttle to catch up with that 'sonofabitch' driver and maybe give him the finger or just return the favor. in my mind, he couldn't possibly have the balls to smash his pick-up on a two-wheeled vehicle.
caught up with him after 50 meters of hard core chasing and weaving....
surprise!! surprise!! i managed to get my bike side by side with his pick-up... i knew with the way he drove earlier, he's gonna overtake whomever is in front.
unfortunately for him, he was at the left lane of the road trying to overtake a slow moving vehicle but he couldn't do it on the left side cos he would smash straight-up to incoming vehicles.
so, you guess it, he went and tried to go in my direction... that was brilliant idea creep! where did you get that, chololo??!
he tried, alright, but i'm not about to budge.
next thing i knew, he was gonna make a right turn going to i.t. park just like i was... payback time baby!
honk him to extinction when he attempted to move in my lane... how you like what you did back there, contumelious driver??!
after the turn, i piss him off by slowing real down... behind my ass, i would have ask, "how's my hump, jerk-off??" had he lowered his window.
when everything cleared, he overtook me and gave me that dagger look, i swear, could pierce through blocks of ice. boy, it was priceless.
i would have wanted him to stop cos i haven't been to a slugfest for months. i'd like to know if i could still slap some ass like what randy couture did to tito ortiz during their ufc championship ...har har har!
to my disappointment, he didn't. ah well, some sissy, i guess. since i was successful enough getting into his nerve and got my revenge, why not drive the dagger home and really, really get him to a boiling point???
yeah, why not!!
drove my bike to extremes again (like valentino rossi) to catch-up with sissy (now, he's got a name!) and tailed him all the way to salinas drive... damn sissy drives like he's a formula 1 driver, eh...
i was behind him for a while until he decided to turn right (again!) before the shell station in salinas... ahhhh, nevermind him, i thought. besides, i'm sure, sissy should really, really be fuming by now.
at the back of my mind, i hope he was just taking a shortcut and would eventually exit the road near cambridge school... adrenaline junky that i am, i was starting to have fun.
what do you know, sissy did took a short cut. what's the matter sissy boy, couldn't handle the heat, huh?? it was obvious he saw me but unfortunately for him, his frontier was too slow climbing up the hill.
finally, i decided to surcease the torture... speed-up to the max and smoked him behind.
besides, i needed to accomplish my objective for the day: never be late for work.
07:51 - i arrived.
i couldn't care less... work's been boring lately. but that's another post.
anyway, yesterday, i decided to push the envelope to the limit... i needed to prove to myself that eventhough i was hanging my ass out at beach roots the night before with 5 bottles of strong ice beer flowing through my arteries and, went home a little late (if 12 mn is late for you, wussy), that i could wake-up and make the 8' o' clock 'habit' of an 8-5 job.
so there, i was speeding, yes but, as safely as i could be... weaving through traffic... left and right...

Next time you think your hotel bill is too high you might want to consider this...
A husband and wife are traveling by car from Key West to Boston . After almost twenty-four hours on the road, they're too tired to continue, and they decide to stop for a rest.
They stop at a nice hotel and take a room, but they only plan to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road. When they check out four hours later, the desk clerk hands them a bill for $350.
The man explodes and demands to know why the charge is so high. He tells the clerk although it's a nice hotel; the rooms certainly aren't worth $350. When the clerk tells him $350 is the standard rate, the man insists on speaking to the Manager.
The Manager appears, listens to the man, and then explains that the Hotel has an Olympic-sized pool and a huge conference center that were available for the husband and wife to use.
"But we didn't use them," the man complains.
"Well, they are here, and you could have," explains the Manager.
He goes on to explain they could have taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous.
"The best entertainers from New York , Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here," the Manager says.
"But we didn't go to any of those shows, "complains the man again.
"Well, we have them, and you could have," the Manager replies.
No matter what facility the Manager mentions, the man replies, "But we didn't use it!"
The Manager is unmoved, and eventually the man gives up and agrees to pay.
He writes a check and gives it to the Manager. The Manager is surprised when he looks at the check. "But sir," he says, this check is only made out for $50."
"That's correct," says the man. "I charged you $300 for sleeping with my wife."
"But I didn't!" exclaims the Manager.
"Well, too bad," the man replies." She was here and you could have."
Management Lessons

[courtesy of my bro, alan]
Lesson One
An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing. A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, "Can I also sit like you! and do nothing?"
The eagle answered: "Sure, why not."So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.
Management Lesson - To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lesson Two
A turkey was chatting with a bull. "I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree," sighed the turkey, "but I haven't got the energy."
"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients."
The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.
He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.
Management Lesson - Bull shit might get you to the top, but it won’t keep you there.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lesson Three
A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold, the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.
While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.
As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was. The dung was actually thawing him out! He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.
A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate. Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.
Management Lesson -
(1) Not everyone who shits on you is your enemy.
(2) Not everyone who gets you out of shit is your friend.
very important is this...
(3) And when you're in deep shit, it's best to keep your mouth shut!
This ends your two minute management course.

pbb teen

wifey had a field day yesterday taking pictures of these teen star wannabees. she was there wasting practically half of her day while neil and yours truly -- abandoned and left to fend for ourselves.what's with these teensy-weensy boys/girls from pbb that wifey and the rest of the neighborhood "telenovela freaks," are willing to risk life and limb just to find out what they look like in person? just can't get enough, huh?
well, at least i have something for you, my legions of fans (excuse my assuming-ness...), who might have a thing or two for this kind of CRAP ---- yeah, that's my little and unwillful indignation for the millions of eerie fans of this voyeuristic tv show. just a pinch... its not gonna hurt... promise...
are you one of them? c'mon, you can tell me... go ahead... reveal yourself...
anyhoo, enjoy!

33 percent.
from 22, i just boost my completion percentile to 33.
you know how important this is to my career? very importante, comprender?
for two successive days, i put up a lot of sweat in between my legs just to up with my current stats...
for two successive days, i burn up a lot of my brows just to crawl my way to the top...
and, for two successive days, i strained my pupils and my "finger-lickin good" finger tendons, trying sooo hard to evade any distraction in order to rise through the ranks...
to get the latest, state of the art "pro" specs of my unit, i needed to beat all odds that come my way...
ladies and gentleman,
welcome to the new world (er, not so new cos i posted about it months ago) i am currently, truly, madly and deeply immersed into:

where do i begin....?
the dull er, doll haus...________________________________________________
i don't how and where to begin...
should i talk about our company's team building seminar slash excursion or, the forgettable two and half days of computer gaming misadventure slash discovery slash national geographic slash reality tv channel mumbo jumbo channel surfing???
this is gonna be a lousy tale, i know...
to begin my off-topic powwow (cos believe me, i wont have any straight-up, eye catching, attention grabbing, stories to tell) today, we'll talk about the moon and the stars...
heh! aren't you bored yet?
really, i was browsing thru a lot of blogs lately and come up with an ironclad conclusion: gross, sex, profanity and crap - sells. well, there are heartwarming stories of people, yes... and the how to's were cool too. the tech·ie's stuff - great for the nerdie's.
guess i'm just hanging on the other side (ok, wrong then) of the fence that much, huh? maybe. but i'm really tempted to test my inconclusive findings (thought ironclad conclusion??): create another blog, talk about sex and violence, filthy stuffs, be abusively vulgar, show some really graphic video's (use your imagination).... whatchathink, dawg?
nah.can't swallow no shit like that, compadre!
________________________________________________
back to our company seminar slash excursion. the place is cool. 80km away from civilization (val told me so), 1km away more from the gates to the kingdom. the structure where me and the rest of the peps are holed up, looked like, felt like and, smelt like a doll house. now, all we need are some barbie dolls and some g.i. joes to complete the settings. i'd love to whack those pretty little barbie dolls to pieces... sorry biatch!
chronicling the whole affair would be tedious as it was a ho-hummer... well, for the most part of it. in fairness, the beach was nice. there were some white sands, yeah....near the shore line. a few meters further and it feels like you just step on some shit... oh, there's kayak too. june and elle, the company's "most eligible bachelorettes," were really good at kayak. they couldn't stop at it. they said, "it's good for our chest." wonder why's that. some naughty guys would ask them, "kita nasay mag kayak na" or "mag kayak ta!" or "kami nasay mag kayak beh." whatever that means.
but, no matter how far you'd swim your lungs out, it's almost always low water out there. bummer! didn't i mention there was a pool? well, that's because it's not worth mentioning anyway. with its very tiny, stupidly shaped, with a plastic slide for kids only features - more ho-hummers....
the beer... oh the beer... where's the goddam beer, marichelle?? helloww!! we're done with our task, you know. the fiercely fought competition(s) we have to endure for that day alone... damn, we're tired and we wanna have fun and start early! where's our drink ey? jagger, the unexpected cracker (that's his monicker, by the way, cos he cracks at the slightest pressure) went on to order us our toxin. nevermind that he had to pay a few bucks for it and our company explicitly made sure to bring the most essential part in a team building seminar -- booze.
after dinner, the long wait is over. beer is finally served.
there was awarding, blah, blah, blah....
played billiards with crooked sticks and dull ends. wow, we came all the way from the city to have some fun here and this is what we get? the aircon in that room isn't working either. not so nice, indeed.
we capped the night with jagger - "the hothead cracker," almost kick the ass of our drunk fellow for mouthing some crap at him. good thing, the masculado was there to pacify things. you know the masculado right? you don't know him? well, make a wild guess.
4am we're done with the booze binge for there's nothing left to imbibe. took a 3 hour sleep. the "main man" was snoring literally. what?? with all the food, lechon and the beer we devour that night, you expect me to go down quietely? you kidding me? good!!
8am breakfast. yum!

9am went to swim. as described above, ain't nothing further to add.
10:30am. exchange our painted ceramics (similar to the ones the kids paint at SM). we painted the darn thing the the day we arrived there... my goodness, it's tough getting it done properly!
over at the conference room, where we exchanged our ceramics and gave a short speech as to why we gave it to that person instead of the manager when he/she (the person whom we're giving our ceramics, dickhead!) neither's got the power to promote nor increase his/her lot. damn, i'm trapped in a drama laden room... can't wait to go home.
2:45pm... a long and winding road to home.

dude, i should rename this blog --- beach roots. i've been blabbing about the place since time immemorial. do i get some royalty here??? nah! nevermind. i'll talk incessantly about the place no matter what, anyhow.
shifting the name to 'beach' instead of 'paksit™' would be passé as there are a lot of beach blogs all over the place. as dennis "the menace" puts it, "they're like dogshit... all over the place."
so, friday was great.
all but one b.r. partners were there. the band played great music... most that we could jam in. soooo many peps, man!! t'was like the best days again, huh? i doff, for a night, my usual poison - strong ice beer, for an equally potent and more filling, red horse beer...one round please, andale! andale!
at the back of my head, i ominously predicted i would get some "serious" kick in the head with my choice of drink but, to hell with it... i'm here to enjoy, chum!
as you can see in the pics below, the place is fairly jam-packed. geeez, i'm back to my usual task: glamour boy-helper. well, i gotta. our "empleado's" could use a lot of help from the rest of the crew (find the 'crew' definition below).
