Merry Christmas!!

belated, yeah.

my Christmas wasn't exactly the way i want it to be.. i wanted it to be quiet. no fuss.. no visitors (bwisitors to be precise), no videoke.. no loud bangs, bangs..

ya know, simple.

i'm not a relative of The Grinch, but yeah, i kinda find it hard to be on a 'celebrating' mode when lotsa people's got no food on their table.

but they won't have it tho. them wifey and her baggages.. go figure!

long story, short - i was bored.

anyway, Christmas is ain't about me, you or anybody else but Christ.

so, Happy Birthday, Jesus!!!

meanwhile, it's almost New Year.. i still feel the same.. to keep it simple.

no big bangs of firecrackers which by the way, lotsa kids suffered mishaps last Christmas eve.

kids.. kids.. they're getting out of control these days. i mean, whatever happened to them, huh?

i'm speaking as a parent having a first-hand experience. it's not like i can look for my son the whole time cos i gotta bust my chops out there so i can feed this family.. having a "career" wife just makes it worst. she just don't have that motherly nurturing my kids need.

the baby is now one and she spends more time with her yaya (babysitter) than her mah... wifey's like she's just gotten out the cage or off the leash that she's on a roll having fun most of the time spending more time with her friends even on weekends... sigh.. whatta predicament, yeah?!?

i can't blame her entirely.. since time immemorial, i've been content spending time indoors than go out.. well, i've done all (almost, i guess) sorts of crazy things saved for bungee jumping and skydiving, so i kinda lost that zest for adventure.. not to mention, i gotta stay in one piece cos i can't think for myself anymore as now many people depend on me.

the only time i get to risk a bit or do some stupid shit, albeit controlled, is when i'm in the gym.

otherwise, i'm too careful... driving, drinking or just plainly going through the day. i barely socialize or go out with friends... there were plenty of parties and invites when december came in, i opted not to expound whenever the subject is discussed.

if you've been reading the news, so many unfortunate things happened outside cos people these days are getting more crazy and daring.

besides, i'm not getting any younger.

so, i'm either right or i've become withdrawn and/or boring.

anyhoo, i think i've posted long enough, yet i still have more shiz to spill later on.. my brain is about to explode so i'd rather zip it.

man, i had a freak accident today. i was too excited to get into the swing of things in the gym.. after racking back the dumbbells, my left index finger got caught between the bar and that part of a metal on the rack.. definitely, a hard one.

seconds later, blood started oozing out of my finger.. really screwed up my routine today (well, some of it). been through that kind of accident before this one tops it all. oh well.

anyway, i'm almost done with this program i've been doing for five (maybe six) weeks now and next week should be the last. it's a six week jacked chest and shoulder routine by doctor hyght. been sitting around gathering dust in my PC's archive.. i usually pick a few stuffs from anyone and sorta put it into my own little concoction.. i usually end up over-trained doing that.. even with this new program, i took it upon myself to add a few sets and reps here and there.. cos i kinda feel wanting.

lets see how this translates next week.

major improvement of course is my strength. i got a few pounds more strength with all the pressing.. along with that is the added weight. shiz!

meanwhile, off to my beauty rest.

by the way, today's another election day and i didn't vote yet again.

Election 2010

didn't vote today. most of the feedbacks i've heard from people who went out to vote didn't paint a rosy picture.. much less from the media.. i'm better off sleeping than go out wait for hours.

it's supposed to be faster cos it's the first time COMELEC (commission on election) implemented a computerize/automated system.. but shit man, i don't like waiting for hours standing under this weather condition. worst, my walkman phone isn't working. so, just imagine the boredom it's gonna take.

not that i tried. i did went and check out my voting place (public school). didn't made it through my precinct, however. traffic jam and a shitload of people all over the place was a scary sight. either those folks are campaigning (giving leaflets, etc.) or were stuck with the long queue of people who're also waiting for their turn.

in contrast, most places where no public school in sight look like ghost town.

i was expecting it to be more convenient, what with the automation mambo-jambo, but it turned out to be worst than the manual system!

yep, i'm better off sleeping... i worked out harder today since the gym ain't too busy. set a new PR with my half-squat from the pins.. it's almost 500 pounds baby!

my lower back feels like its been run over by a truck.. no, a bulldozer best describes it!

anyway, congrats in advance to the winners! i'm sure the election will do just fine one less vote from me.

what an expensive upgrade! i just wanted to change the stock fan of my CPU unto something more cooler.. ya know, something that would prolong its life.. not that it hasn't been a year since i bought it, but it's been plagued with constant hang-ups especially if you play a "heavy" game such as Call of Duty's Modern Warfare 2.

well, i bought it a good cooler, a Coolermaster, not the super high-end one with all the lights and blings on, just a medium-end but gets the job done.

installation was easy, thanks to Youtube but i got a little careless along the way... on my way to tightening it's bolts, i tightened it a wee bit hard it damaged the motherboard.

so, when i finish installing everything and turn it ON, its indicator lit but it wouldn't start. bought it to GreenValley Computer Repair shop and was diagnosed to have and effed up mobo. sigh.

waited a week to have it fixed, tested it on their place and was good to go, paid 900 bucks, but when i got home and turned it up, the sucker wouldn't start!

i had a 30-day warranty. i didn't availed.

charged to experience. when shit like this happens, repair is futile. better replace.

bought a new one... geez, i bought a slew of other things like a SilverStone chassis and a PSU. got 'em for 3 and 12 months zero-interest, respectively.

on the other hand, my old-reliable Pentium 4 is still standing up strong.. yep, i upgraded its cooler too.. pretty sturdy for a torrent rig, tell ya that!

this one i'm using now though is soooo much faster and much more powerful.. it's got a high-end processor, max-out ram and overclocked to its limits!

i'm pretty happy, but sad at the same time.

i know you catch my drift...
