Election 2010
didn't vote today. most of the feedbacks i've heard from people who went out to vote didn't paint a rosy picture.. much less from the media.. i'm better off sleeping than go out wait for hours.
it's supposed to be faster cos it's the first time COMELEC (commission on election) implemented a computerize/automated system.. but shit man, i don't like waiting for hours standing under this weather condition. worst, my walkman phone isn't working. so, just imagine the boredom it's gonna take.
not that i tried. i did went and check out my voting place (public school). didn't made it through my precinct, however. traffic jam and a shitload of people all over the place was a scary sight. either those folks are campaigning (giving leaflets, etc.) or were stuck with the long queue of people who're also waiting for their turn.
in contrast, most places where no public school in sight look like ghost town.
i was expecting it to be more convenient, what with the automation mambo-jambo, but it turned out to be worst than the manual system!
yep, i'm better off sleeping... i worked out harder today since the gym ain't too busy. set a new PR with my half-squat from the pins.. it's almost 500 pounds baby!
my lower back feels like its been run over by a truck.. no, a bulldozer best describes it!
anyway, congrats in advance to the winners! i'm sure the election will do just fine one less vote from me.

Dizz Knee Land
what an expensive upgrade! i just wanted to change the stock fan of my CPU unto something more cooler.. ya know, something that would prolong its life.. not that it hasn't been a year since i bought it, but it's been plagued with constant hang-ups especially if you play a "heavy" game such as Call of Duty's Modern Warfare 2.
well, i bought it a good cooler, a Coolermaster, not the super high-end one with all the lights and blings on, just a medium-end but gets the job done.
installation was easy, thanks to Youtube but i got a little careless along the way... on my way to tightening it's bolts, i tightened it a wee bit hard it damaged the motherboard.
so, when i finish installing everything and turn it ON, its indicator lit but it wouldn't start. bought it to GreenValley Computer Repair shop and was diagnosed to have and effed up mobo. sigh.
waited a week to have it fixed, tested it on their place and was good to go, paid 900 bucks, but when i got home and turned it up, the sucker wouldn't start!
i had a 30-day warranty. i didn't availed.
charged to experience. when shit like this happens, repair is futile. better replace.
bought a new one... geez, i bought a slew of other things like a SilverStone chassis and a PSU. got 'em for 3 and 12 months zero-interest, respectively.
on the other hand, my old-reliable Pentium 4 is still standing up strong.. yep, i upgraded its cooler too.. pretty sturdy for a torrent rig, tell ya that!
this one i'm using now though is soooo much faster and much more powerful.. it's got a high-end processor, max-out ram and overclocked to its limits!
i'm pretty happy, but sad at the same time.
i know you catch my drift...
now, i wanna go to..

it's been a while.. so i figured.

well, i haven't really been that busy.. just doin' things i enjoy more than sayin' sweet nothing over here.
and, it ain't all fun and games neither.
basically, it's in between.
it's pretty unbelievable how much one can accomplish when one is doin' somethin' he enjoys... on the other hand, you can have a so-so performance on something you do to meet both ends and get away with it, cos geez, ya just have to do it.
sucks to be on the latter.
anyway, someday.. someday... i'll get to do what i do best... and earn from it.
that's the plan.
my candle is burnin' out fast on the other end while i'm glowing on the other side of the spectrum.
